Sample the atmosphere of the Bordeaux wine region by staying adjacent to the River Dronne, in our delightful adjoining accommodation, Maison Manaton and Granary Cottage. Situated in three acres of land, these properties sleep six and four respectively, are approximately 200 years old and have been converted to a high standard, whilst keeping their traditional 'French feel'

The large grounds offer peace and tranquillity as well as activities for the more energetic, such as table tennis and badminton.

Just a 10 minute walk takes visitors to the centre of the beautiful old town of St. Aulaye, with its 13th century Church and Chateau overlooking the town.
There are also several places of interest within easy driving distance. These include Cognac, St. Emilion, Brantome and the huge Friday Market at Riberac. The quiet roads make the area excellent for cycling - bike hire is available.

The town boasts some delightful traditional restaurants, with menus starting from 12 Euros per person inclusive of wine. There is a well stocked supermarket, as well as butchers, bakers and a garage. Every Saturday is market day.
